Who We Are

3Stone, a ministry of New York Chinese Alliance Church (NYCAC), is a diverse, multi-congregational church located in the heart of New York City. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ and nurturing the next generation of believers. We’re currently seeking a dedicated and creative Part-Time Youth Director to lead and grow our youth ministry for students in grades 6–12.

Your Role

You’ll be leading a dynamic and supportive youth ministry team to plan and run weekly youth fellowship gatherings, partner with Sunday School teachers using The Gospel Project curriculum, and coordinate events such as retreats, service projects, and mission trips. Most importantly, you’ll be journeying with our youth as they learn to follow Jesus in today’s world.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly Sunday Youth Fellowship with engaging, biblically-based and relevant lessons and activities.
• Support Sunday School teaching and coordination.
• Build relationships with students, parents, and volunteers.
• Plan and lead special events (retreats, outreach, missions).
• Collaborate with other local youth ministries and NYCAC leaders.
   

What We’re Looking For

• A passionate follower of Jesus who aligns with the Christian & Missionary Alliance statement of faith.
• A relational leader with experience in youth ministry or working with students and families.
• Someone with a heart for discipleship and a teachable spirit.
• Enrolled in or completed a youth ministry or biblical studies program (a plus).
• Willing to pursue C&MA accreditation (details: Metro C&MA Next Steps).

Details

• Time Commitment: Up to 20 hours per week
• Duration: One-year position with potential for renewal and growth into a full-time Associate Pastor of Student Ministries
• Compensation: around $30,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Supervision: Reports directly to the Lead Pastor
